Northeast Louisiana native Griffin Scott joined the NBC10/FOX14 News Team in March 2007.
As a child in 1970’s Swartz, Griffin would study episodes of 20/20 and 60 Minutes while his peers watched cartoons. When the other kids ran to the playground after school, Griffin raced to the television to prepare for CBS News with Walter Cronkite.
Since graduating from Louisiana Technical College’s Television Broadcasting program in 1989, Griffin has had a successful career in radio broadcasting in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Most recently, he was the co-host of the popular “Whipping Boy Show” on 106.1FM (Rock 106).
Griffin, a self-professed Trekie, loves the Beatles and is a life-long New Orleans Saints fanatic. When not reading a local newspaper or Stephen King novel, he spends his spare time with his wife and teenage daughter.
